Tracey Sanford saw the potential in a three-month-old diner and turned it into a local legend known for the best pancakes in town and service that makes you feel like kin.

As we turn the page to a new chapter, West Side Cafe proudly embraces its legacy with a familiar face at the helm. Our long-time general manager and the heart of our cafe, Joel Hancock, has stepped up to carry the torch passed on by his friend and mentor, Tracey. Joel’s dedication over two decades has been a testament to the cafe’s spirit, and now alongside his son, Brian, he’s committed to nurturing the traditions that make this place special.

Our doors open daily from sunrise to afternoon, ready to serve you the best breakfast in Fort Worth all day long, with a smile and the neighborly charm you’ve come to expect.
